Do I need to sign up to get started?

No. You can add a pet and start keeping a log in your browser right away. When you sign in, GlucoPet will offer to transfer your local data to your account and sync it across devices.

Does GlucoPet tell me how to adjust the insulin dose?

No. The app helps you record and present data, but it does not diagnose conditions or replace a veterinarian. Change the medication, dose, or treatment plan only in consultation with a veterinary professional.

Can I share the log with someone else?

Yes. Once you sign in, you can invite a partner as a shared caregiver or temporarily give a pet sitter simplified access and guidance. Access is granted separately for each pet.

Does GlucoPet work on phones and offline?

Yes. It is a browser-based app designed for phones, tablets, and computers. After the first visit, your data remains available offline, and changes sync when you are back online.

How can I share the records with my veterinarian?

Choose a date range and generate a clear PDF report for your appointment, or download the data as a CSV for more detailed analysis.

How can I protect the log from data loss?

Without an account, data is stored only in your browser and may be lost if you clear its data or lose the device. To protect it, enable cloud sync or download a full backup.

Is GlucoPet really free?

Yes. There is no trial period, subscription, or limit on the number of pets or entries.
